A press print is a toner-based print on cardstock. 

A press print is a cardstock print printed with toner. Toner is a powder-based ink that is applied with heat. This method is designed to print CMYK and is usually pretty flat. 

A photo print is traditionally printed on luster or glossy paper. These prints use the inkjet method and are designed to print RGB files. Great for snapshots, images from your phone, or photos in frames that may get replaced over time.  

A fine art print uses a wider range of inks than a traditional inkjet print. This method uses high-quality, thicker, cotton-based papers that are archival, museum quality. This method and these papers are designed to make your images look their absolute best. Ideal for professional photography, art reproductions, images that will be framed, photos or art prints for collectors or exhibitions.

Cards, postcards, invitations, business cards, brochures, pamplets, affordable reproductions of illustrations are all ideal for the press printer. 

We offer text weight cardstock, 100# and 120# in coated and uncoated, as well as an eggshell and pearl finish. 

The 100# cover uncoated is the most popular for cards and art prints. 

First, you'll need a digital file. If you have an original painting, we can help you get your artwork into a high-quality, color-accurate file. Visit our art digitization page for more information. 

If you have a digital file, or are a digital illustration artist, you can upload it to our website and design your 12 x 18" cardstock prints. 

If you'd like us to review your files, you can come into the store to make sure your files are sized well for print and fit the aspect ratio you'd like to print.

Sure. Set up your files two per page as a 12x18 PDF in CMYK. If you require assistance setting up the file, we can help you for an additional set-up fee. Call us or bring your images into the store and we will talk you through the options. 

We can cut your image for an additional fee. Otherwise, your image will show up on a 12x18 sheet of cardstock and you will be responsible for trimming it down to the size you'd like.
